A cooking show produced by Loyalist College's 2nd Yr. Television and New Media Production students and Professor Cathy Goddard.
Chef Class features Chef John Schneeberger and students from the Culinary Management program at Loyalist College. It’s produced entirely by 2nd year TV students who write, direct, shoot, and edit the weekly episodes. Chef John reveals techniques the pros use and gives you the front seat in a Loyalist College Chef Class.
Professor John Schneeberger, is the coordinator of Loyalist’s one-year Culinary Skills - Chef Training, two-year Culinary Management, and O.Y.A.P. Cook Programs. Born of Swiss descent, he has dual citizenship in Canada and Switzerland and comes from a family with several Executive Chefs and a Pastry Chef. Chef Schneeberger is a graduate of George Brown College and has completed both his cook and baker apprenticeships. He has travelled in Europe and Canada working in numerous restaurants. He was the Executive Chef Instructor at a private college for two years prior to his arrival at Loyalist College 13 years ago. While teaching in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program, Chef John co-developed the Culinary Management and the Culinary Skills programs and has recently had the honour of being chosen as one of Top 10 Finalists in TVO’s 2008 Best Lecturer Competition.
