BARBARA BELL

Barbara is an actor, writer, freelance editor and avid reader. Favourite roles include Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire, Gertrude in Hamlet, and Mary Stuart in Mary Stuart for which she won a best actress award from the Eastern Ontario Drama League in 2006. Last year she wrote, produced and acted in Dreams and Desires, a one-woman play, which she toured in Ontario, Saskatchewan and BC.

Barbara is managing editor for a new small press, The Experience Publishers, as well as Festival Administrator for Kingston WritersFest. You might also find her working for the Kingston Frontenac Public Library as a relief library assistant!

 Her all-time favourite author is Dorothy Dunnett.
