Women’s provincial curling championship live on TVCOGECO

TVCOGECO is proud to provide live television coverage of the 2009 Ontario Women’s Curling Championship, taking place this year at the Oakville Curling Club. TVCOGECO will be covering all the action as Ontario’s best women curlers compete from Monday January 26 to Sunday February 1.

“This is a huge project for us,” said Frank Myers, Programming and Community Relations Manager for Burlington-Oakville. “We have great partners at the Oakville Curling Club and we’re very excited to be able to offer this coverage to our viewers across the province. We know curling is very big in the communities we serve.”

Most games will be live although some exceptions occur due to local commitments. TVCOGECO programming schedule for Chatham is available at www.tvcogeco.com.

For further information on the Ontario Women’s Curling Championship, see the Ontario Curling Association website www.ontcurl.com.
