Crime Stoppers of Halton Region

Crime has affected everyone at some point in their lives in one way or another. It’s easy to feel that there’s nothing you can do or to worry about the consequences if you do pass on information.

With Crime Stoppers you have the power to tackle crime without leaving yourself open. It’s easy, it’s anonymous, it’s up to you.

Every call is valuable to Crime Stoppers. Often your information will be used to help solve existing investigations. Sometimes however, the information may be entirely new to the police and will enable them to tackle crimes that they may otherwise be unaware of.

That is why your call to Crime Stoppers could be so crucial. Call us anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also visit the Crime Stoppers website at: www.haltoncrimestoppers.com

In partnership with Halton Crime Stoppers TVCOGECO provides Milton, Halton and Halton hills with regular up to date reports on local crimes.  So be sure to tune into the TVCOGECO News to see your local Crime Stoppers Reports and Re-enactments.

Upper Credit Humane Society

The Humane Society of Canada works to protect dogs, cats, horses, birds, livestock, lab animals, wildlife and the environment. They carry out hands on programs to help animals and nature, mount rescue operations, expose cruelty through hard hitting undercover investigations, work to pass laws to protect animals, funds non-invasive scientific research, support animal shelters and wildlife rehabilitation centres and spread the word about how to help animals and nature through humane education.

A registered charity, The Humane Society of Canada depends entirely on donations to support our programs to help animals and the environment. All donations are gratefully acknowledged with a receipt for income tax purposes.

TVCOGECO News also provides an animal adoption segment where viewers can see pets that are currently up for adoption and discover all the information they would need to know about the pets background.  If you would like to find more information about the Upper Credit Humane Society you can visit their website at: http://www.uppercredit.com/index.html or tune into TVCOGECO News to see which animals need a new home.
