 TVCOGECO VOLUNTEER PROFILE

John Lewis is one of TVCOGECO’s most creative and loyal volunteers who have been around our community television environment for more years than we can remember. John is a CBC employee who is also a known Peterborough photographer. He is considered our “entertainment” producer as he is the brains behind shows like Junction 28, The Skinny and our holiday specials featuring some of the most recognizable Peterborough musicians around! John has a vast knowledge of audio setups and has played a key role in the setup of our Midnight Mass production at St. Peter-in-Chains Cathedral, as well as Christmas 2007’s Peterboorugh Singers production of The Messiah. John is always coming up with new ideas and is a very enthusiastic member of our TVCOGECO team. John has been an award-winner several times at our TVCOGECO Star Awards, taking home statues for Junction 28 and for his production of Over There, Over Here, a Remembrance Day program featuring local war veterans telling their personal stories of war. John was our 2007 Volunteer of the Year for the second time – the first was in 1997.
