Thanks to TVCOGECO's ever-increasing support and popularity, the demand for coverage of local events is very high. There are several questions we ask ourselves to determine the priorities for event or subject coverage. Here are a few:
- Does the request fit within our mandate and regulations?
- How much does this affect or interest our community?
- Is it relevant to our local focus?
- Have we provided similar coverage recently, and is it time to give another group or topic a turn?
- What makes this event or topic unique or special?
- Can we provide appropriate coverage with the available resources?
- Do we have sufficient preparation time?
- How much help can you provide with the production (e.g., crew support)?
After discussing these points we are better able to determine how we can help you.
But, before we even begin our decision process, we require a written request containing the details of the specific event wishing to be covered.
