How did you get your start as a TVCOGECO volunteer?
A friend and I went to the studio on Assumption street in 1989 to inquire about doing volunteer work for television. We read a sign that said Cable 11 has relocated to Dougall. We later drove down Dougall looking for it, found it, went in, met Crystal, met Marlene and filled out a volunteer form. We were taken on a tour of the building, and I did my first shoot 2 days later. For some reason, they've continued to call me for shoots ever since.
First-ever TVCOGECO production:
First studio shoot was Community Edition
First EFP shoot was Windsor Lancers volleyball
First directing gig was Belle River Canadiens Jr. ‘C’ hockey in 1991
Most memorable TVCOGECO moments:
#5. Directing coverage of Windsor Lancers mens basketball winning 2007 Wilson Cup OUA championship
#4. Directing coverage of Essex Ravens winning first-ever OVFL championship in 2002
#3. Meeting entire Detroit Pistons team at U. of Windsor in 1991
#2. ENG shoot of an entire round of golf by Arnold Palmer at Essex Golf Club in 1991

If you could work on any TV show (past or present), what would it be?
I really want to be a juror on Video on Trial. I would have loved to have been an extra on any Seinfeld episode.
If you could meet one person (from the past or present) who would it be?
It wouldn’t be Einstein because he wore the same outfit every day. It would be cool to pick the brain of DaVinci or Copernicus, but I'll settle for Kurt Cobain and Chris Evert.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
London, England to watch a tennis match at Wimbledon
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To fly
