    CHRIS MANNING
I started volunteering with TVCOGECO in 2009 and have done
    both studio and mobile productions.
I enjoy mobile productions more because you get to go out to
other locations and see new things (that's not to say studio
    productions aren't fun as well).
I have done camera, audio, VTR, graphics and directing. If I
had to choose a favourite I couldn't, they are all fun and exciting.
This year I decided to take it a step further by doing a co-op
placement with TVCOGECO. Now I get to see what happens
behind the scenes with editing, creating tape breaks and doing
site checks. I have met people in other departments that I
didn't even know existed within the same building as the
    studio.
Everyone here is great, they are funny, nice and some are just
a little too creative for their own good. All-in-all it's a great
place to volunteer - you meet good people, have a lot of fun
and get great experience in television production.

Be a part of the Picture! TVCOGECO Sarnia offers members of the Sarnia-Lambton community the opportunity to take part in the production of television programming that reflects the local area. As part of this, volunteers are trained on the operation of broadcast television equipment. High school students can earn their community service hours while adding to their resume for post-secondary or career advancement.
