Congratulations to the Friends of Murphy's Point Provincial Park and local archaeologists Brenda Kennett and Jeff Earl. They are the recipients of the 2010 Peggi Armstrong Public Archaeology Award presented by the Ontario Archaeology Society. The award was given in recognition of the Archaeo Apprentice program which has given more than 750 local students the chance to experience hands-on history since it was launched in 2004.
